About the Brand
Rasya is a passion project that brings the richness of Indian culture to life through traditional sweets and savories. The idea was to create a brand that feels luxurious, authentic, and deeply rooted in India’s culinary heritage. The name “Rasya,” derived from Sanskrit, means juicy, savory, and palatable — perfectly capturing the essence of the brand.
The Challenge
The goal was to build a brand identity that feels premium while staying true to India’s warmth, culture, and vibrancy. It needed to look refined and modern, yet instantly recognizable as Indian. The challenge was to blend heritage and luxury in a way that feels timeless and engaging.
The Prosess
I began with research to understand the cultural cues, colors, and elements that make Indian culinary brands stand out. After exploring name options, I selected “Rasya” for its meaning and emotional resonance.
I sketched multiple logo concepts before refining the final mark — a balance of tradition and sophistication.
For the color palette, I chose deep and vibrant tones that reflect Indian richness and create a luxurious visual mood. I then developed intricate patterns inspired by Indian motifs, giving the brand a strong visual identity.
To add personality, I created custom illustrations that represent the characters of Rasya, bringing charm, storytelling, and authenticity to the brand.
