About the Brand
Telangana Innovation Cell (TGIC) was set up in 2017 under the State Innovation Policy with a vision to build and nurture the culture of Innovation in the State of Telangana. TGIC acts as the first response of the State Government for identified innovators, start-ups, entrepreneurs, and innovation catalysts to foster an inclusive innovation ecosystem with a state-as-a-whole approach.
The Role
During my time with TGIC, I worked across a wide spectrum of design needs — from print materials like posters, certificates, badges, and event collaterals to digital assets such as social media creatives, newsletters, and screen designs. I also explored multiple logo directions and visual identity concepts for various summits and internal initiatives, along with extended brand elements like patterns, typography styles, and environmental graphics for spaces.
Every project was an opportunity to translate TGIC’s innovation-driven and people-focused vision into meaningful visuals. The work involved close collaboration with their internal team, ensuring each design was clear, consistent, and aligned with the organisation’s communication goals. The overall process remained iterative and research-led, helping maintain a cohesive visual language across all touchpoints — whether for public events, government programs, or digital outreach.
The Impact
The designs strengthened TGIC’s visual identity and improved how their initiatives were communicated across digital and physical platforms. I’m proud to have contributed to a government-led initiative and to have played a small part in bringing smiles to many innovators and people across Telangana.
Assistive Technology was an Initiative by TGIC focused on empowering individuals with disabilities. I had the opportunity to design the posters and creatives for the entire summit. The color scheme, typography, and inclusion of braille text were thoughtfully developed to ensure accessibility and inclusivity for people with disabilities.
